Tea Rothier

Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Téa Routhier discovered her love for dance at the age of 3. Since then, she continued her training in numerous genres including jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop. Téa began assistant teaching classes under the mentorship of Lorie Holtey-Ramirez while she was in high school. Following high school she continued her newfound passion of teaching, with further guidance from Alvin Ramirez. She continued to assist Lorie and Alvin at several studios in the Chicagoland area, further sharing her devotion for dance and expanding her knowledge on teaching for 3 years. Through her hard work and dedication, Téa has been bestowed the honor of becoming a trusted assistant to Alvin and Lorie. Through her substitute jobs, Téa gained the experience to begin her teaching career at studios in the Chicagoland area including Impact Dance Studio (Countryside), and Virtues in Motion(VIM) Dance Studio (Yorkville). Furthermore, Téa has began co-choreographing several competitive hip-hop routines. Téa has also had many performance opportunities in the Chicagoland area including multipleperformances at Chicago Live with Culture Shock Chicago. Along with her current dance teaching and training, Téa graduated McHenry County College in 2025 where she earned her Associates in Arts and General Studies. Furthering her education, Téa transferred to DeVry University Chicago where she plans on earning her Bachelors in Buisness Administraion.
