Josie Sowers

Josie Sowers has gained training in multiple dance styles through diverse dance experiences. She began dancing at the age of 5, starting with Jazz and Hip-hop, and soon broadened her skills as she entered the competitive world by taking foundational classes such as ballet, conditioning, and technique. During her time as a competitive dancer, she participated in regional and national contests as well as conventions, where she trained under some of the most renowned artists and choreographers in the industry. Josie's training extended beyond the studio; she also gained experience in a school dance environment, where she further developed skills in styles such as pom. Since then, she has choreographed award-winning routines performed at UDA (Universal Dance Association). Returning to the studio setting, Josie has been assisting and shadowing dance classes since she was 12 and began leading her own classes at 15, teaching a range of ages and skill levels across various styles. As an instructor, Josie focuses on fostering a growth-oriented atmosphere
where all her students share a passion for and take pride in their progress.
